Delivery & Collection
We can deliver items small or large directly to your home if you are based in England, Scotland or Wales. Delivery costs will be calculated based on your location. We will deliver large items personally via our delivery van and smaller items can be posted to you. All items are packaged securely to ensure the item arrives safely no matter how long the journey. Delivery will be arranged at a time that fits into our delivery schedule, and posted items will be dispatched within 3-4 working days of purchase.
Standard delivery includes a delivery driver who is not responsible for bringing the item into your home. We can offer a two person delivery service for an additional charge should you need assistance for larger items. Should there be changes to government restrictions that mean we are unable to deliver your item, we will rearrange your delivery to the next available date whilst adhering to any government restrictions that may apply.
Items can be collected from The WareHouse – collection is free of charge and subject to our availability and any government restrictions which may be in place. If you are collecting large items, please ensure that you have transport arranged that will fit the item securely. We also suggest adequate packaging & padding – we recommend wool blankets for items of any size. The WareHouse team is not responsible for loading the item into your vehicle, however, if you need a dolly or sack truck to move the item whilst in The WareHouse we have these available. Please note the dolly and sack truck cannot be taken off the premises, so please ensure you are able to manoeuvre the item once you reach your destination.
Due to the on-going restrictions, we ask that social distancing is adhered to and masks are worn during the delivery & collection of your item/s. All items will be cleaned when leaving The WareHouse, providing that any cleaning required does not alter or damage the item. Returns are only accepted for mechanical items which become faulty within 14 days of purchase. Refunds will not be issued for the following reasons:
i) an item is known to be faulty at the time of purchase
ii) if labels, maker’s marks or anything identifying or adding provenance to an item have been removed
iii) an item has been damaged by trying to repair it yourself or by someone else
iv) you no longer want an item (eg because it’s the wrong size or colour) unless you bought it without seeing it (ie. online) at which point you will be entitled to a refund of the purchase price only (not delivery / packing costs)
Returns are only accepted from the person who purchased the item, and refunds will be given via the original payment method. Please note, we do not offer a ‘buy back’ service for items purchased from The WareHouse.
Customers who purchase an item via online or telephone orders have the right to cancel an order up until the day of collection/delivery. Any payment made for cancelled items will be refunded to you via the original method of payment.
